AN ARCHISPEAK WORD
I was given the task to present the word “Dialogue” in an Architectural context. It’s an Archispeak word that Architects use as a guideline for Architectural jargon. This is an interesting phenomena found in architecture worth discussing.
The word is quiet descriptive in itself, not one of those in depth terms to ponder on, it’s one of a few shallow Archispeak words that open a different understanding of observing architecture. Whenever given an assignment to elaborate something, I always see it as an opportunity to explore a different complexity in it that has been developed to what it is.
We can see dialogue in any exchange of information between two or more entities. This could be in a form of relation or contradiction similar to a literal dialogue between two or more people. This thought of distinguishing dialogue in design makes sense when trying to connect and create a conversation between ideas. Please find attached my presentation, enjoy!
